Spreading Phlox in the Garden
Spreading phlox (Phlox diffusa) is a mat-forming evergreen perennial native to the Interior of BC, found often in rocky areas, open ridges, and subalpine dry slopes. It develops dark green, needle-like leaves. They are easy to grow in the home garden and maintain and produce flowers from mid-spring to mid-summer.

We use spreading phlox on rock slopes and as a front-of-the-bed ground cover. A recommended plant for the garden.
