In the first week of spring at the end of March, the first flowers are in bloom and many plants are leafing out. Work is underway in all of the garden beds, but a bit of time was also taken to enjoy the arrival of spring by taking a few photos. Shared here are Crocus and Vinca in flower and a number of early appearances – Clematis, crane’s-bill, parsley, columbine, ribbon grass, hellebore, bearded iris, and thistles.
